The Grave
IN November of 2014 the archaeologists opened the third chamber of the tomb to discover the last resting place of the tomb's occupant, or perhaps, occupants. The grave, made of limestone, contained an elaborate coffin that once featured iron and bronze nails, as well as glass and bone ornamentation. Here were found the bones, a most exciting discovery that could lead to the identity of the tomb's occupant. Here as well, however, the plot thickens.
